Well Restoration @ Tomas Borge Community, Nicaragua

In 2021, together we repaired two wells in the Tomas Borge community.

Tomas Borge is a squatter community near the trash dumps of Leon, Nicaragua - housing many of the poorest people on this side of the planet. This area has a few wells installed in the past by generous organizations and the government, but some of them were in need of repair.

We spotted a beautiful young girl carrying a water jug down the streets, walking right past a week we saw - realizing it was broken, we inquired to the community leadership and found out the cost of repair was about $150. $25 of which was already raised by the community.

Partnering together with them, we got it repaired and another soon after it.
